Some religions may just throw their dead body in a hole, others may burn it. It all depends on what they believe in. In others they have a whole process in which they say prayers have a coffin and make a big event out of it. They are all different. After May’s death the sisters put the beehives next to her grave because they wanted her to spend her last few moments with what she’s been spending her life with for a last time.
ReplyDeletePeople of different cultures and religions observe different rituals different ways. For example in the secret life of bees thy lay out soul food such as fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, and green beans. But in others you could fast until the mourning is over. They are important mostly to the living people and the dead person alike. Because people believe that the dead person’s soul is smiling and dancing.
ReplyDeleteIn the secret life of bees they water the beehive with extra sugar water. So the bees won’t get thirsty in over 100 degree weather.
