Hi I'm July!
ReplyDeleteThe reason why I chose July is because I live for Summer. Not only is it a month that I am out of school, but during this month I attend my second home. Blue Rill Day Camp. During each and everyday I would get up,do my morning routine, and then go to camp. I would enjoy life there and then come home, do my nightly routine and then start all over again in the morning. I enjoy the beautiful weather that July withholds. Those are the reason why I would name myself July!
If I could choose a month to be named after, i would pick February. Mainly i would pick this month because i was born in it. But also because its a very winter feeling month. There is always snow during February, and usually around the time of my birthday. I also like the spelling of the word, even when i can not spell it correctly so i use spell check on my laptop.
ReplyDeleteA couple of activities or things that i would do in my birthday month is SHOP. I love to shop and spend money, which won't be to good for me when I am living on my own and getting into debt. The second thing I would do is go to Germany for a week, Croatia for a week, Canada for a week, and then the rest of the time, going to mount fuji every night for dinner.
I would love to have all that be possible, but reality is not like that. Except the going in debt part.

Freedom to live a single month and be able to do anything I want to is an amazing gift. Thirty one days that are my thirty one days in my special month is all I want. Here I would feel the warmth of the sun against my skin, stay up late within the night, and be free to do so much. July is the month I belong to whether or not my name is actually July. The month you belong to reflects your personality and everyone has a month they belong to. For thirty-one days I can imagine so much in my head. July is a month full of warmth, freedom (you have all your time to yourself), and fits me and my personality well. I’m full of energy and can never sit still and love the thought of freedom. July is at the peak of summer.
There’s something about July that speaks to me and I can see myself staying up late, spending ridiculously late hours in a pool just swimming, and enjoying the summer. In July, it’s right in the middle of everything and the weather is amazing and beautiful with its true blue skies and bright sun. Summer is my season and my time—and July is a part of that. Most of all I love the night, when it’s warmth enough to enjoy it, I’ve stayed up until seven o’clock in the mourning on New Year’s Eve. We got home around three o’clock (am), but I didn’t want to go to bed. My dad, who was exhausted, said I could go to bed whenever I want as long as I don’t wake him up and sleep. It was great and I have no problem being wide awake from dusk to dawn.
Of course, July would be a time to enjoy the outdoors. I would spend my nights camping out in my backyard and even the woods knowing my parents will only say yes on my special month. In July, I can stay up as late as I want swimming in a pool at an outrageous hour while everyone else is asleep inside. Just the way I did once at one in the mourning with my friends and how we camped out in their backyard knowing we wouldn’t fall asleep until six o’clock in the mourning. In July, I would watch the stars and catch fireflies the way my cousin and I did last summer just for the sake of it. After pleading beseechingly, I would end up roasting marshmallows and making s’mores.
Of course, I’d enjoy my month sunshine or rain. When a stormy night would come, I would slip out in pajamas and watch the storm. I’ll wait until lightning lights up the sky and the loud BOOM comes, letting the wild wind ruffle my hair and pajamas. Once, I slipped out on my porch and just sat there watching the rain pour down relentlessly, not caring when the wind made the rain reach me. My hair was being tossed all over the place, and I couldn’t help but to laugh. On the rare nights in which I would sleep in my room, my window will be wide open and I’ll fall asleep to the sound of rain.
July would whoosh by. Once I woke up it would be noon and I eat breakfast and go hiking. Most of all, I’ll spend a lot of time with my family and my friends. There are going to be many wild and crazy memories of shopping sprees and sleepovers. By the time the summer ends I would have so many stories to tell everyone I know. For example, I went shopping with my neighbors who danced around the mall and visited a candle store to see their lunch lady working there. My friend ended up walking around a whole floor above us because she got bored, and we were shouting directions for her. I think July would be my month because it fits my personality and it’s in the perfect time of a summer. July is my month.
If I had to pick a month to be named after me I would pick the month of November. The reason why I would pick the month of November is because my birthday is in it, my name starts with an N, and lastly it is a perfect time it is not to cold and not to hot where you can see all of the trees day by day lose their colorful leaves and see the change in season. I would spend my month with my family for Thanksgiving and spend it having fun with friends. These three things are what I see and noticed about this month. When I know my birthday is coming around and gifts are on their way to me I get even happier! Walking outside or even looking out the window at all the trees lined up in a row makes me want to run outside and jump in them. This month is just a happy month for me and that’s why I would pick this month to be named after me. (:

I would pick this name because it actually sounds like a normal name and when people hear that it’s your name they might not just think about the month, but that it s just another normal name. I like the name May because it is simple but pretty at the same time. I would pick May because I love the season, when the hot weather really starts to set in and pools are being opened and school is almost out. I also love to be able to start getting a tan, which I love. I mean really, what is there not to love about the season May? The only thing that I may not like about May is that the bees start coming out to sting you and I don’t really like bees. In the month of May I would spend most of it tanning in my backyard, or going swimming with my friends. I love the change of weather from the cold, wet and snowy winter to the hot, dry, bright summer. This is why I would choose the month of May for a name.
ReplyDeleteIf I could pick a month to be named after I would pick the month of August. This month is special to me because it is the month of my birthday. I would get to spend my month in luxury and I would be able to celebrate my birthday. August is also in the summer with no school and homework. I already have special privileges in the summer, in August I would get even more privileges. I would spend my special month in a variety of ways. One way would be to avoid doing any work like help clean out the garage, or straighten out the house. My brother would have to do that. I would also avoid practicing my bass for an hour a day. My dad wouldn’t let me not practice, but maybe he’d let me cut down my practicing time to 30 minutes. I would try to get my way with more arguments with my brother and gain special privileges over him. Finally, I would attempt to win arguments with my dad. My dad and I always get into arguments that can last the whole day, but in my special month, maybe my dad would back off a bit and allow me to have a more flexible summer towards what I want to do. Whenever my month comes up I would take full advantage of it.

It is also my favorite month how it is not to cold or not to hot. And also I would celebrate my birthday of course and all sorts of things. Have fun outside and play with my friends.

ReplyDeleteIf I could choose any month to be named after, and to be my special month, it would July. I would choose July because it is a very nice and hot month. I never like to be cold, and July is when I can do a lot of my favorite activities in the warmth. In July, I go on many vacations. I also go down the shore with my cousins. There is no school to keep me inside the whole day, and restrain me to a tight schedule, so I can just relax. I am able to do anything I want with my friends in July. We can go to the pool and have a great time. I would have a great time spending my duty-free July. As I stated in my first paragraph, I would go down the shore. I would have italian ices from Strollos, my favorite italian shop, everyday. I would enjoy it as I walked back to the house, which is blocks away. I would go fishing and crabbing with my uncle on his boat, or go tubing with another uncle on his boat. I would go and swim in the ocean, and have an overall great time.
ReplyDeleteIf I had to pick month to be named after I would choose December. The reason I would choose this name is because it is the month I was born, and I love that month. I would spend my special month hanging out with friends. I would also love to go shopping during this special month, and eat my favorite meals like August said she’d done. I would do what I wanted during this month, I would go out when I wanted and I wouldn’t have to clean my room. I hate cleaning my room. During the month of December I would also not do my chores, like cleaning the bathroom and the living room. After a while I get sick of the heat and I want it to be cold out, so being that it is my birthday month and I love the weather I would choose December.

I like this because it’s a month where everybody is happy and ready for the New Year, and I like that. Also, I would spend my special month in snowball fights, skiing, tons of my favorite foods, and endless video games without my little brother nagging me that it is his turn!
ReplyDeleteYou know the saying about March, “In like a lion and out like a lamb”? Like the months infamous weather pattern, I can be stormy at times. I am not an angry person, I just can’t control my temper. For example, if you say one bad thing about my friend, expect to see my bad side. But when I’m not raging, I am actually quite nice. Most of the time I am sweet like August’s honey. During my special month, I would spend it eating a bunch of chocolate. Chocolate is my weakness like kryptonite is Superman’s. While I’m not stuffing myself with chocolaty goodness, I would take that month off from soccer, and just relax. I would never be able to wait for my special month. I love March.
ReplyDeleteIf I could pick a month to named after I would pick March. I would pick March because it is the month spring starts and when hockey begins again. I love the season spring because it starts to get warm out and I can hangout outside with my friends. Since hockey ends in February we have two weeks then hockey starts again in March. I would spend my special month not go to school I would just hang out at home outside and I would play hockey with my neighbor. I would also spend my special month trying new things since spring is when everything grows again and everything starts agin.
ReplyDeleteIn the book Lily decided that if her name was a month, it would be October. If I was to have a name in the calendar mine would be April. Not to be like the character April in the book either. I’d choose April because it’s a very pretty time of the year, everything is in full bloom and its warm, not to hot or cold. Just the way I like it! You get to go outside and play for a bit, you can clean out all your winter clutter, there’s spring break, and it’s my birthday month! The color of the month are very pretty too1 Like the greens of the newly sprouting leaves, the colors of the flowers that are now starting to pop up, and there’s the blue of the rain. It always rains in April but I like then it rains. And for some people new ideas come out in there head. So it’s a time for new begins as well.

If I could have my name as month it would be December. The reasons are because it has my birthday in it. Also it’s the best time of the year. Everyone gets together for the holidays and have a great time. It has sort of a nice ring to it also. My nickname could be D. I think this is the best month too. It is also the most beautiful setting with all the snow. That would be my month name.

This applies to me because I can be tough and strong like a lion but I am also soft and gentle like a lamb after a little while. March is also the month of my birthday so I think it must be special to me. March is also the begging of my favorite season, which is spring. I like spring and March because this is the time when it gets warmer after a harsh winter. I would then spend this month outside with my friends. Also it is sunny and warm so I will spend a lot of my time outside. In this month I am also going to wear a lot of shorts when I can. I like wearing shorts and I’d love to spend my special month wearing them. March defiantly suits my special holiday
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion I think the month that would describe me the most would also be October, just like Lily’s favorite is. I have many reason as to why this is so. During this month a lot of special things happen, that makes me very happy. This month is the one that describes me the most. I like, and think that this month is special to me, because it has great weather, the sent outside is great, and their are two very special holidays, my birthday and halloween.
ReplyDeleteOctober is by far the best month that describes me the most and i like it for many reasons. Everyday when you walk outside, you smell the crisp smell of autumn. As you sniff this special smell, it will make you in a good mood. you can also see all the leaves that are changing from green to bright oranges, reds, and purples. i love this part of Autumn, it makes me so happy. My next favorite thing about this month is that you can go apple picking, this is a special even that goes on in my family. Every October, we go to the orchards to pick perfectly red and green apples. Our family spends the whole day with apples. We usually get the apples, and later we make things out of them such as apple pies, and apple crisps. Everything comes out delicious, and it is a good experience. My third best thing that i love about October is that halloween is that month. i loved getting all jazzed up to go trick or treating. It is very fun, and we always get to hang out with our friends. Lastly, my favorite thing out of everything in the whole month is my Birthday. This special day takes place on October 22. I love this day because I get a special day with my family and friends, as well as many special gifts. I love everything about October, and it defines me well.
I would spend this month in a very special way. I would start by saying that everybody has to be kind to me. I would tell my mom then that i am excused from chores around the house. this would also included me not doing any laundry, and a different family member doing it for me. Next, I would ask to go out to dinner once a week. the restaurant would my choice. Lastly, I would like to spend my special month with doing special things with my friends. We could hang out more often than usual, and do things that i usually don’t do on a daily basis. All of these thing would be special to me about my month.
Even though that my special month is the same as Lily’s, i have different reasons as to why. I also have many different thing that i would wish to do in my month from the other calendar sisters. My month would be very special to me for many reasons. This month would make me very happy with all the fun filled things i would be able to do.
Answer: If I could be named after a month, it would be July for many personal reasons. Although July is a girl’s name it represents me and includes many things that I love in it. For instance I was born in July, which is why every year I cannot wait for the month to come around to celebrate my birthday. Not only that but its summer time by July, so I don’t have to worry about any school and I can just enjoy relaxing in the beautiful weather. Also I have all the time in the world to hang out with friends, swim, play sports and videogames, and to ride my bike. Accounting on that these are all things I love to do (especially celebrate my birthday) July would be a perfect name for me.
ReplyDeleteIf I was allowed to do any thing I wanted in my special month of July, I could come up with a whole list of things to do. I would stay up late every night to watch one of my favorite shows’ George Lopez and of course there would be tons of snacks to go with it. Also I would try to hang out with friends all day long to play sports, video games or to go swimming. Not only that but in my special month I would love to take a short vacation to a beach with my family and friends. Oh, and if I could get a good book to read I would probably read in substitution of doing some simple chores around the house. So if I had a special month just like the Boatwright sisters did, I would spend with just some good old fashion summer fun.
If I had to choose a month to be my name it would be March. First it would be my name because I was born in March. Another reason why I would make my name March is it is the month of change. From winter to spring it is the most beautiful thing to see when all of the snow melts. Then you see the beautiful grass and it makes you feel the warm breeze and then you realize it is time for shorts. It is almost like hibernation and when March comes around it will be the time to “wake up”. That is why I would change my name to March if I had to.

The flowers start to bud, the weather gets warmer, and you can enjoy the fresh air. When it comes to the month of April, to me it seems like a very lively month. Everyone is so happy and wanting to make a difference in their lives. I would spend the month of April by doing all of the things I love with the people I love. I would want to spend all of my time on the beach with my friends and family, having picnics, and playing games outside. I would also like to go to different places and meet new people and hear their whole life stories. This month I would want to try new things that I can’t even imagine doing myself. The month of April reads to me to e with the people you love the most and to do whatever is on your mind.

There is only one bad thing about my birthday, the one bad thing is that my brother is never home to celebrate mine and let alone his birthday. Every summer my brother leaves the day after school end till the middle of August, missing my birthday and sometimes even his.
Another favorite thing about June is that school ends. School is finally over and the summer begins. The summer is my favorite season because school is done and the summer begins. Everyone loves the summer because there is no school and everyone can relax and hangout with their friends by the pool. Also everyone can get a very nice suntan and be very tan.

Second it is the first month where spring begins and spring is the greatest season of all. I would want to be named after January because it was the month that I was born, so my zodiac sign would be a Capricorn. People with this zodiac sign are thought to be honest, hardworking, humorous, persevering, responsible, and strong willed. This is the first impression that I want to give people when they first meet me; that I am someone they can trust and rely on; that I am determined and work hard to get what I want. For example, I want people to know that I am the perfect friend for them and I will stick with them through thick and thin.
ReplyDeleteSecondly, I would pick the name January because during this month, it snows a lot, and I love the snow. It makes the world look so white and pure, covering up all the imperfections, even if it is just for a little while. As the snowflakes fall down they look so free and when you walk outside, it makes you feel like you’re in a winter wonderland. Playing in the snow is a wonderful experience as well. Whether I am making a snowman or sliding down a large hill on my sled, I am carefree. For the moment all the worries in my life are forgotten and I can just enjoy myself. After I come back indoors, I can count on the warmth of the fire and mug of hot chocolate waiting for me. These are a few of the perks of January. You can be home, relax, and enjoy yourself, something that doesn’t happen very often anymore.
I would also want to be named January because this is the first month of the year. It marks a new year, and a new start. Fireworks are put on and a party is thrown. I say good-bye to the old year and hello to the New Year. Whatever bad things happened last year can be forgotten. It is now a new year, and I can learn from my mistakes. I can reset goals for myself and make this year even better than the last. A New Year means I can get a second chance at the things I didn’t do right last time. A new year also means trying different things and taking chances, living life to the fullest. January is the month that marks this amazing change in life.
Hopefully, during the month of January I won’t have to do anything I don’t want to. It would be nice if I didn’t have to do any chores such as cleaning the house or doing the dishes. To make this month perfect, my sister could do things I want her to and I would get to make the decisions without her whining and complaining. During my month I would like it if my parents didn’t complain about me going to bed really late or telling me I should study more. I would want them to not point out my faults and to just let me be. These things are out of my control, but if for one month, everyone could do things to please me, it would be nice. If everyone could have their one special month, things would be close to perfect.
During my special month I would do things I hardly ever get to do and things that bring me a lot of joy. For example, I would eat all the ice cream sitting in my freezer then go out and get more. I would sit on my couch watching TV and eating my favorite strawberry ice cream right out of the carton. I would also go to the mall with my friends every week to watch a movie and then have a sleepover. Even though this would be very unhealthy, I would enjoy my month to the fullest. At night I would sit down and spend some time reading because I never have time to do that anymore. I would read book after book every night until my eyes drooped and begged for sleep. On top of that, I would tamper myself and go to the spa every week. My month, January, would be the time for fun and doing things I would normally get in trouble for. January would be the month I want to be named after and when that month came around, I would spend it like there was no tomorrow.
My special month would be definitely November. I was born in November and it is my favorite month. Not only is it the month of my birthday but it makes me realize that Christmas is almost here. Also, what comes with Christmas is Christmas break! I spend the first half of the month excited for my birthday and counting the days down. After my birthday begin counting the days down until Christmas break. On my birthday I get to see all the family I don’t usually get to see. Also, in November is Thanksgiving. I get to eat Thanksgiving Day dinner, watch Thanksgiving Day football, and watch the Thanksgiving day parade. November is in my family the most exciting day of the month!

If my name was a month, I would pick July because it is during the summer and everybody loves Summer.It is warm and everybody has fun in the summer sun.It is my favorite month of the year because of July 4 and the weather is just perfect for swimming, playing outside, hanging out with friends and anything else you can think of. If my name was july, I would not be upset, i would enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteIf I had a name that was a name of a month, it would be May because that is my birth month. The jewel for May is an emerald, and it looks like a shamrock because i am Irish. I would spend my special month with my friends and if I had a boyfriend. It would be my special month that no one can ruin. I hope for no drama, and no fighting going on between my family and my friends. It would be the most perfect month ever. Better than any other month. I hope for the best month any one can say is perfect.
